Woodville Walled Garden is hosting its Harvest Festival on Sunday the 24th of September from 11am to 5.30 pm. Talks and demonstrations include Alick Branigan on his Irish Dahlia Collection, Chris Evans florist designer, Kathleen McMahon from Black River Wild Foods and the Woodville Beekeepers. For the month of February the gardens at Woodville are open every weekend from Friday to Sunday with a tour /talk/tea with our head gardener. We also have Snowdrops and Aconites for sale at great value.

Our annual snowdrop event will take place on Saturday the 13th of February with guest speaker Assumpta Broomsfield an avid galanthophile. Her talk will be at 2 pm approx, followed by tour of the garden with head gardener Marie. Admission €10, including light refreshments.
Snowdrops in the green will be on sale during the month of February.

Sunday the 5th of July between 2pm – 5 pm, local artist Sallyann Beirne will give a demonstration on Plein Air painting in the garden. Come along and see the painting unfold. Chat and ask questions.
Entry to the garden, including demo followed by tea and homemade cake €7.

e on the same day as our Snowdrop event 8th February at 2pm, so to avoid any delays please come to the garden by going via Gort or Loughrea town. Follow the Gort road to Kilchreest village and turn off for the garden in Kilchreest village, after turn follow road and take first road left, follow road and the garden will be on your right.
